Art Chair Auction

The Expo highlight is the Art Chair Auction.  Local and national artists, designers, celebrities, organizations, companies and partner charity agencies will donate their talents and redesign used chairs from the Furniture Bank by adding their own artistic embellishments, turning the chair pieces into unique Art Furniture.

These incredible artistic designs will be then auctioned in the Live and Silent Auction at the Expo. One hundred percent of the auction proceeds will support the Furniture Bank and its associate agencies.

So be ready to place a bid and take home a fabulous art chair!

After months of hard work and preparation, we are very excited that the Furniture, Arts and Décor Expo: Show Your heART Houston is THIS WEEKEND! We will be loading all of our wonderful exhibitors, performers and attractions into the George R. Brown Convention Center all day tomorrow in order to open bright and early on Saturday for a wonderful weekend of art, entertainment and fun.

Stop by Fingers Furniture starting the week of August 16th - 26th  to see a preview of a limited grouping of the Art Chairs that will be auctioned at the Expo. Join us at the Preview Event at Fingers Furniture on August 24th. To date, more than 140 chairs have been commissioned by "heARTists" and personalities from internationally acclaimed artist Bert Long, Jr to Texas Artist Sam Caldwell.
